Places

Cities of the Black Caverns – Glorioles, Vast Swamp, Hestmark Highlands, Lendore Isles, Tilvanot Peninsula, Bonewood.

Pontylver – City overrun with undead and supposedly cursed causing any who venture there mad; location of strange statue; location of Ger’s research on The People of the Black Caverns.

Pitchfield – Capital of the Kingdom of Sunndi; believed to be the base of operations for Kasera; currently off limits to the party due to the fact that they are believed to have been involved with the killing of Quarion, one of the King’s advisors.

Lirrim’s Village – A large clearing in the Menowood now that the actual village has been somehow transported to the Ethereal Plane; whereabouts of inhabitants, including Lirrim’s family are currently unknown.

Menowood – Small wood in southwest Sunndi; home to Sione and Lirrim; outer most forest contains most civilized villages, while the inner portion houses dark fey and supposedly evil creatures.

Bonewood – Small wood in northern Ahlissa; location of one of the Cities of the Black Caverns; reputed to be cursed since the wood of the trees themselves took on the composition of bone. The party discovered a vast cavern system below the wood. Within the cavern system a huge drow city sits controlling most of the underground areas surrounding it.

Vast Swamp – Huge swamp in southern Sunndi; it and the Spine Ridge form the barrier between Sunndi and the Tilvanot Peninsula, the domain of the Scarlet Brotherhood; home to the cult of Wastri, the Hopping Prophet; home to the tomb of the demilich Acererak; reported to drain into Underdark, but this has yet to be proven.

Glorioles – Mountain range in northern Sunndi; location of a City of the Black Caverns, in fact, the first one the group discovered and where Nori and Marlos originally found the Greater Amulet.

Hestmark Highlands – Range of hills in eastern Sunndi; location of one of the Cities of the Black Caverns.

Lendore Isles - Elven ruled home of the cult of Sehanine; shrouded in magical fog only navigable by the elves; the capital city, Lo Reltarma houses the mysterious Gate of Glass used by the banished human inhabitants to escape the elves, supposedly to a city in the sky ruled by legendary Lendore; location of one of the Cities of the Black Caverns.

Tilvanot Peninsula - Home to the Scarlet Brotherhood; reportedly the only place to find the Blue Madbane herb, reputed to be able to cure any ailment of the mind.

Serpent Isle – Southern most of the Sea Barons’ islands; reportedly cursed and the only place to find the Rainbow Viper, a snake whose venom is supposed to be able to cure any ailment.

Hollow Highlands – Range of hills in western Sunndi; so called because of the numerous mines and tunnels now long unused; home to many gnomish and dwarven villages.

Grandwood Forest – Large forest in the eastern portion of the North Kingdom; location of Nori’s village; group was attacked by a small band of Bonesnappers here on their way to find Nori; the group retrieved a holy symbol for the god Nerull from one of the attackers body.

The Guilded Cavern Inn – Located in Naerie, this is where the group met Duras and was given the cubic gate; run by an old dwarven cleric named Lisan, who helped the group prove that they were the ones sent by Ashila when confronted by a group of imposters.

The Velvet Fist – A tavern in the city of Pardue, known as a den of thieves; the group encountered Sul here and questioned him about his exploits in Pontlyver.

Abandoned Mines – A series of abandoned mines in the Hollow Highlands near Malwander; housed the werewolf responsible for some of the disappearances around Malwander; also used by Maj to track and kill the creature.

Rook’s Roost - A large outcropping in the form of a raven found in the Hestmark Highlands; entrance to the Hestmark Highlands location of the City of the Black Caverns was found near the base of the outcropping; same cavern system that houses the City of the Black Caverns also houses the Dungard clan of dwarves which the group worked with to defeat Kasera and the Bonesnappers, freeing their control of the dwarves mines.
