Marlos - High Priest of Corellon Latherian in Malwander; former adventuring cleric who, along with Nori, Alil, and Eros found the Glorioles City of the Black Caverns thirty years ago, retrieving the Greater Amulet; impersonated by Vazeras the Rakshasa when captured and questioned about current whereabouts of the Greater Amulet.

Falam – Acolyte of Marlos; deceased.

Carstos – Paladin of Corellon Latherian; Captain of the Guard in Malwander.

Councilman Irithan – One of the Council of Seven in Malwander; working with Kasera toward some unknown goal; attempted to have the group exiled from Malwander.

Vazeras – Rakshasa found posing as Marlos in Malwander per letters found in the underground complex below the temple of Corellon Latherian; attempted to blame group for the death of Falam.

Azeal – Little is known of him, but he apparently was leading Maj and the poachers in their killing of the Menowood druids per the letter the group found in Maj’s tent; his name also appears on a letter from Kasera the group found in the house where Marlos was being held in New Keep.

Kasera - Elven woman believed to be leading the Rakshasa; apparently headquartered in Pitchfield with ties to the City Guard, and possibly the King’s Court per the letter Carstos received demanding the release of Striden.

Maj – Leader of the Menowood poachers; led the hunters in the killing of the Menowood druids, including Sione’s uncle, using a strange amulet to control the beasts. The group also encountered him while investigating the strange disappearances outside of Malwander. Ultimately Maj slayed the werewolf responsible for the disappearances in a large battle at the site of an old abandoned mine. He has shown incredible prowess in battle and wields a powerful magic scimitar.

Nori – Adventuring companion of Marlos; powerful Elven wizard; only known living expert on the People of the Black Caverns; recently found in Pontlyver suffering from the madness associated with the city; only person who knows where the Greater Amulet is hidden.

Erol – Adventuring companion of Marlos and Nori; High Priest of Heironeous in New Keep; deceased.

Alil – Adventuring companion of Marlos and Nori; tried on the Greater Amulet and apparently went mad; deceased.

Damalic – Runs a messenger service between Malwander and Pitchfield.

Bilm – Gnome rescued from the Bonesnapper camp at the mouth the cave entrance to underground complex below the temple in Malwander

Dunn – Acolyte of Erol; now High Priest of Heironeous in New Keep; worked with group to rescue Marlos in New Keep.

Gris – One of many hobgoblin leaders in The Bonesnappers; apparently recruited by Vazeras.

Ashila (a.k.a. Ashili) – Known to most of the world as an elderly hermit living in the Menowood; actually a Ghaele (Celestial) serving as an avatar to Corellon Latherian; currently investigating the possible return of Tharizdun.

Sarl – Elderly man in the service of Ashila.

Striden – Worked with Maj and Kasera in the killing of the Menowood druids; told Flain the man who knows the truth about the “flood” in his village many years ago now lives in Greyhawk; believed to be a worshipper of Nerull per the holy symbol found in his possession when arrested by Carstos.

Quarion – Adviser to the King of Sunndi; recipient of a “fake” amulet; killed at the hands of the “mysterious assassin” mentioning Gartrel; group blamed for death; Deceased.

Elairon – Adviser to the King of Sunndi; helped group escape Pitchfield after the death of Quarion.

Alain – Only known surviving member of Lirrim’s village; discovered disappearance of village initially.

Duras – Dwarven blacksmith in Naerie; helped group defeat the party with Lirrim’s imposter; gave the group the Cubic Gate, he and his brother supposedly retrieved from the Glorioles City of the Black Caverns.

Lisan – Dwarven cleric and owner of the Gilded Cavern Inn in Naerie where group met Duras.

Ger – Sage and scholar; believed to be foremost authority on the People of the Black Caverns; believed to have died in battle of Pontylver, although someone claiming to be Ger has surfaced in Irongate suffering from amnesia.

Acererak – Demilich supposedly imprisoned in a tomb in the Vast Swamp (see Mystic Bracelet in the items section).

Gildor – Rich merchant from New Keep; hired Xif’s uncle to deliver “fake” amulet to Quarion in Pitchfield.

Ebin Belzadar Feng (a.k.a. Bel)– Xifias’ uncle; deals in the transport of “items”; often uses Xif and the group in these deliveries.

Gartrel – Ruler of the Marchland of Medegia, of which Pontylver is the former capital; the “mysterious assassin” mentioned his name before killing Quarion in Pitchfield.

“Mysterious Assassin” – Killed Quarion, for whose murder the group is blamed, disguised as a Scarlet Brotherhood monk; attacked the group in Naerie, apparently searching for something.

Monk of the Brotherhood – Little is known of this man except for the fact that he is tracking down Isach, trying to retrieve the book he took from the Bredthrall camp when he left.

Sul – Thief from Pardue; one of only three surviving members of an expedition to Pontylver, apparently unaffected by the “madness”.

Laone – Leader of the Serpent Isle villagers; priest of Boccob.

Arngard – Leader of the Dungard clan of dwarves the group worked with in the Hestmark Highlands.

Digger – Lizardman captured in the Bonewood. Later revealed himself as a Raksasha working for Kasera when he lead the group into an ambush.

Drow High Priestess – Half dark-elf, half giant spider, the priestess bid the group to rid the caverns below the Bonewood of Kasera and the Bonesnappers.

Rai – Drow guide who lead the party to the City of the Black Caverns beneath the Bonewood.
