This is the traditional Bavarian lederhosen, which I intend to wear to Oktoberfest. I figure I will fit in well with the local Bavarians, and should have a much more "authentic" experience (see Chevy Chase, European Vacation).

After some initial planning I am finally going to be on my way to Oktoberfest in just a few days. I'll spend four days in Munich at Oktoberfest, then travel through Germany to Nurnberg, Coburg, and Berlin. I'll make additional stops along the way, although nothing has been planned as of yet. I plan to update this site daily, provided I have access while traveling. Check back often!
