Model
2002
-GRACE Cares, Inc. was created in the summer of 2002 by Kenneth Giancola, Zoe Kopp, and T Namaya.  The directors of GRACE Cares, Inc. have over 25 years of experience in community development, education and healthcare in over 70 countries.  During this time we have grown to recognize the value of community as an integral part of a healthy world.  As the pressures of globalization and population increase; cultural traditions and the communities they thrive in are in jeopardy.

2003
-GRACE Cares, Inc. received 501(c)3 tax-exempt status.
-A fundraiser for a group called WINGS to support Mayan women and children who are victims of domestic violence in the Guatemalan Highlands was held.
-Three Project Directors with potential projects in Bolivia, Peru, and Palestine were identified.
-Our website was created in August 2003.

2004
-GRACE Cares, Inc. board of directors now includes K. Giancola, Z. Kopp. T. Namaya, J. Goldberg, J. Giancola, P. Anderson, R. McKenna Brown, E. Eisman, D. Schwartz, and K Spriggs.
-GRACE held a Tea & Concert in July to benefit two projects for the Matsiguenkas in Peru
-the 1st Annual Vermont Art Poetry Fusion Prize was offered as a fundraiser for GRACE and to support and inspire local artists
