GRACE Cares, Inc
WINGS

WINGS, the Women's International Network for Guatemalan Solutions was founded in 1999 by Sue Patterson a former Peace Corp Volunteer and Foreign Service Officer.  WINGS motto is "A woman is something too precious to waste."  WINGS works with Guatemalan Mayans on providing knowledge, financial resources, and access for poor individuals to plan their families.

In 2002 GRACE Cares, Inc. raised funds for WINGS to provide much needed health services to women and children who were victims of domestic violence.  GRACE Cares, Inc. officers T. Namaya and Zoe Kopp held a fund-raiser in conjunction with the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT.  TOgether the two groups celebrated "V Day" by bringing "The Vagina Monologues" to southeastern Vermont.
