One of the most recognizable christmas songs in the world is
“It Came Upon A Midnight Clear”.
Everybody familiar with the music of christmas knows this
melody and the words of the first verse—which begins
with the nativity scene, but I haven’t found anyone who
knows any part of the other verses which look forward
to the day when “peace on earth” is finally accomplished.
When choosing music soundtracks to set the mood
along with the lights of christmas, this one
should certainly be on the playlist.
