Ooh.. Mothers' Day! It's a good thing it's Mothers' Day coz I have something to write about. I guess my entry today would include my mom, Pia's mom and Pia.

Well, we gave Ma a box of Ferrero Rocher and a Mothers' Day card I created with the use of a CD. Written inside it was something my 16-year-old sis wrote which went something like this:

Dearest Ma,
Happy Mothers' Day! Thanks for being a good mom to us and a supportive wife to Dad. We love you! Enjoy this occassion!
Love,
Dad, Jared, Nadya and Miguel

At around 6:00 pm, I drove to Pia's house which was located in another subdivision.  I gave her mom, who happens to be our family doctor and friend, flowers which I bought in a nearby flower shop earlier. But of course, I told Pia's mother that it was from my whole family even if it was actually from me.

You see, I have a thing for Pia, her daughter. It began sometime in January 2003 (sem break) when I got sick. I went to Dra.'s clinic and Pia was there along with two other friends. They were asking Dra.'s permission to go to the nearby mall when I walked in.

I've met her before when we were still kids. But of course, there were no sparks since I was a little boy then. And besides, we rarely see each other. But when I saw her that day, I never thought she was Pia until Dra. introduced us (again)  to each other. She transformed into a beautiful woman and I was mesmerized. Really.

You know, I'm a really torpe kind of guy. Thank God to Luke, one of my ka-tropas. He urged me to call Pia on the phone the moment I told him that I was falling for the daughter of my parents' friend. Luke and I looked up their residence's number at the address book placed near the telephone at our house's second floor.

Since then, we became friends. Yeah, just friends. As I've said, I'm too torpe to tell her what I really feel inside all these months. And I'm waiting for the day when I will not be too torpe to court her. Besides, I have to win her parents first. Now you know why I went to their residence and gave her mom a bouquet of flowers... Ü
