One day, long ago, I wrote about how every guy could place himself and his friends in two of the seminal movies of the 1990s, American Pie and Swingers. Swingers applies better to my high school friends than it does to my current group of friends. But after my recent viewing of American Wedding, I figure that it is time to futiley attempt to prove at least half of my point. For the purpose of easy reference, I will use myself and the four guys who co-hosted the party last weekend, Rob, Jeff, Blake, and Kevin.

Kevin (Thomas Ian Nichols) - Kevin. These two share much more than just a first name. Like his movie counterpart, our Kevin is the one that keeps the group together. He always is looking for and finding a deeper meaning in all of our hijinks. He had the blonde high school girlfriend who he broke up with once he got to college. And just as the movie character inherited the "Sex Bible", Kevin inherited copies of Foreskin Gump and No Man's Land 7.

Oz (Chris Klein) - Rob. Like Oz in American Pie 2, Rob is currently dating a girl long distance whom he adores. And like Oz, girls tend to throw themselves at Rob, so he must overcome constant temptation. And he does...well at least when it matters the most. Plus, couldn't you see Rob being the type of guy who would enroll in choir just to meet a girl? Then again, I sincerely doubt the words "Suck me, beautiful" would ever come out of his mouth.

Stifler (Seann William Scott) - Jeff. Jeez, like this is a shocker.
10 Songs
1) "I'll Be Your Lover" - Van Morrison
2) "The Other Shoe" - Old 97's
3) "Ideoteque"- Radiohead
4) "Amy" -  Ryan Adams
5) "Ass-Knockin'" - Bob Schneider
6) "Black Math" - The White Stripes
7) "Miles Away" - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
8) "The Fake Headlines'" - New Pornographers
9) "Rumble in the Jungle" - Tribe Called Quest, The Fugees, Busta Rhymes, & Forte
10) "Singular Girl"- Old 97's
Contact me if you have anything to say .
Jeff always manages to keep the energy up  and all of us focused on a girl. We don't always realize it at the time, but most of his perverted ideas lead us to our most memorable of times. Like Stifler, Jeff is all about having a good time. And like Stifler in the most recent film, Jeff has a hidden depth that we never give him enough credit for.

Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) -
Me. What kinda guy rates himself as the character who's most famous scene involves explosive diarrhea? Well, only one whose most famous misadventure involves passing out on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras. I like to pride myself in a certain level of elitism...well, at least when it comes to music and movies. I don't get quite as much female attention as my friends, but I do occasionally get groped by their mothers. Oh, and I fucked Jeff's mom.

Jim (Jason Biggs) - Blake. Blake is undoubtedly one of the nicest guys I know, but he always seems to end up in the most fucked up of situations. Like the time he was stalked by the Jehovah's Witness. Or the time when he was flipped off by an elderly lady who called him a "Shit fuck". Despite all of his travails, he has managed to enter the next stage of his life gracefully by starting med school and settling down with a nice girl. And let's be honest....is there really much difference between band girls and Baylor girls? I thought not.
