Brownies take part in the Brownie Adventure which begins with their first meeting. As part of this the girls are involved in choosing what activities and interest badges they work (Computers artist, outdoor, service). The weekly meetings often involve the girls being in groups called sixes each of which has a leader (sixer) and assistant (second). One six may be responsible for organising a game for the others . The girls also have the chance to experience pack holiday. In 2003 this involved 120 Roundhay Brownies having an overnight camp with a Harry Potter theme.
