Gretna Green Blacksmith Shop

This blacksmith shop was built in 1997 in typical pre-1900 construction style. It is a working blacksmith shop but is also maintained as a museum to memorialize, preserve, maintain and demonstrate the craft and art of the blacksmith as a significant craftsman in the forging of the tools of civilization and commerce of Gretna (and the nation).
