Southern Pacific Depot

Acquired by the Gretna Historical Society after a "Save the Depot" campaign, the depot was removed to its original site and renovated. It was built in 1906 and has been declared an architectural gem for its unique Dowingesque Ornamental style rarely found in Louisiana. Today it is used as an office for the Gretna Tourism Center.
