David Crockett Fire Hall

Built in 1859, it is the home of the David Crockett Volunteer Fire Company which was organized in 1841 and today is the oldest continually operating volunteer fire company in the United States. The Fire Hall is now a two-story museum, exhibiting on both floors items of historical value to the David Crockett Fire Company, the history of fire fighting, and a brief view of the history of Gretna and Jefferson Parish.
