The economy of the People's Republic of Zīrkę

In Zīrkę the Zīrkęnian Stīrr is used as currency. Stīrr comes from the word silver, and on all banknotes can be read: "can be exchanged in silver after announcement". The exchange rate is 1 ZKS = 1.33 Christiania Crown. This means that 1 Christiania Crown equals 0.75 ZKS.

In Zīrkę you pay Stīrr 0,30 to send a letter everywhere within the country. To send letters abroad, you have to pay twice for the surrounding countries, and for off the continent you pay four times the standard price, i.e. ZKS 1,20. Below some stamps:
