Throughout
the centuries, Zīrkęnian culture and
architecture went through several ups and downs,
golden years and dark ages. Komsomol and other
cities produced many painters, writers,
architects and poets. Nowadays, most of the
national cultural heritage is preserved in the
National Museum in Komsomol. However there are
also lots of different museums in other cities,
with a variety of things on display. From
paintings to photographs and from sculptures to
old physical instruments; the many museums
represent a rich history.
During the Second
Golden Age, Zīrkę had lots of craftsmen working
on different kinds of objects like jewelry,
everyday objects like stoves and hats, but with a
quality and refined beauty found in few places on
the Niverian Continent. The acient city of Blźt
housed a lot of goldsmiths who gave the city her
fame and wealth, while Komsomol was famous for
her diamond trading.
Here some other
examples of the fine artwork made by Zīrkęnian
craftsmen during the Golden Ages.
Another form of
arts is of course architecture. Komsomol and many
other cities have beautiful historic centres with
many old houses, palaces and buildings made by
the rich merchants of the Golden Ages. In recent
history many fine and monumental buildings have
been designed and built, for example the National
Museum as seen in the picture above, or the
Komsomol Central station along with many more
governmental or corporate buildings.
