| December 2002 Check Chamonix Meteo site for updates to the local weather and wish us lots of snow! Skiing has started, with the Grandes Montets are open as of the last week of November. Season is looking very promising compared to last year at the same time (nothing was open). Robert is working for Beaumont as a 'resort rep'. Gen, as usual is doing the computer geek thing. Mark will be our roommate for the winter - coming up from London to also work at Beaumont. We met him last winter through our friend Adam, who lives in Argentiere now and has started a business this year doing ski holidays. Summer's main accomplishment was not mountain-related (a bit disappointing, no?) and had to do with getting the living room refurbished (ceiling raised, old stone walls un-pointed and re-pointed, fireplace rebuilt, tiles down).
