We have moved into our apartment in Chamonix at last. France Telecom has given us our new number, and most importantly our hook up with the ADSL internet line. Whee!

We will be in Chamonix for the winter season, before heading to the West this Spring for our wedding in Vegas. The snow is so far not that great, but we have been out skiing every day or two, and climbing at the Mont Blanc Escalade climbing gym in Les Houches Friday nights and any other time we can spare.

We are heading out to Scotland for a week of winter hiking on January 19th - 27th and return the 28th. Looks like there is more rain than snow up there at the moment, but we are hoping for snow so that we can get in some winter hiking days for Robert's Mountain Leader qualifications. We'll be camping some nights in our 4 season tent and minus 20C sleeping bags. Fun fun fun!

Still have a backlog of photos to scan in, but working on it slowly...
