After 2 months effort in working many overnights, I've finished my latest product -
PC Locator v5.0
Since 2002, I was working over numerous projects in HSBC which focus mainly on the
administration of Desktop Computing Security, over the mass scale global network of
HSBC with many mixed platform. PC Locator was the software system which help
us to secure the network environment, and hence accomplish the goal to safeguard every
computers equipment property.
Since the first version launch in August 2003, it wins out many other popular network
scanning utility available from the internet, not only because it is customized for the
network in HSBC, it also provides many integration with other Enterprise System and
therefore act as the center of monitoring the network.

I just moved to my new apartment (Vianni Cove) in Tin Shui Wai last week, it is a good place in
the New Territories, if you enjoy staying away from the noisy and dusty urban area. Although
a little bit inconvenience for my friends to visit me.
|
My flat is quit large (886 square feets), but it is actually the smallest apartment in the tower.
Yet I am satisfy since this size is far enough for both my girlfriend and me, and I've got a balcony,
which allow me to rest freely with a far view.
|
Most happy of all, I've a 32" Plasma TV, with 5:1 Channel Speaker. You can't imagine how brilliant
it is when I play PS2 games with sound & visual effect such as cinema! This is really cool......
Oh, I've a club house too, but currently only the swimming pool, gymnasium & BBQ area were opened.
Nevermind, I've no interest in such activities except cycling, I just got my mountain bike
repaired, and last Friday I cycled with my only friend in Tin Shui Wai, it was really wonderful to
cycled via the fields!

Today (25 July 2004, Sunday) I just passed the SCJP -
Sun Certified JAVA Programmer Examination
So I could now officially called myself a JAVA Programmer. I have been seriously
preparing the examination for 2 weeks, without having anymore time to delay the exam,
I finally finish it with a fair score - 63%.
To my surprise, this exam is really difficult, even with 18 months of programming exp. on
JAVA, it still turns out that as if I am a newbbie when doing the exam.
I got much resources from the website:
http://www.javaranch.com/gramps/SCJPLinks.jsp
http://www.jchq.net/certkey/index.htm
But to be frank, completing the tutorial of these website is not enough to score higher marks.
The best way I believe is to do as much mock exam as you could, and perhaps got some books may
help too.
There are just many questions which produces coding that I've never seen, even if seen before I
wouldn't write it so which is hard to understand.

Recently I just bought a new toy - the LEGO MindStorm
(Robotic Invention System 2.0).
This is a real cool stuff, because it just like natural lego brick,
but with hardware stuffs which contain RCX (Robotics Command System),
microprocessor (CPU), internal memory, LCD display, infraded transmitter,
motor, light sensors, touch sensors & built-in speaker. Togther with the
software includes: firmware (OS) and the RCX Program (IDE).
All this together brings to a prgrammable LEGO robot.
