Here comes the latest feature on Gallon of Magnet - The Fans Forum! There are currently a number of Forums where Blades fans chat, but despite that we fealt it was time for GOM to do what all popular unofficial football sites do - introduce our own. The Blades were held by lower-league opposition twice in 24
hours, as they failed to deliver against Rotherham and
Scunthorpe.

United had to rely on a debut goal from French striker Christian
Nade to rescue a draw at Millmoor on Friday night, but the hefty
forward could have bagged a hat-trick during his 20-minute
cameo.

Former Notts Forest midfielder Eugen Bopp, who is on trial at
Millmoor, gave the Millers the lead on 9 minutes when he received the ball just inside the area before firing a low drive past Paddy Kenny.

United gave former Birmingham and Ipswich player Jamie Clapham a starting role at left-back, and also handed debuts to new signings Rob Hulse and Li Tie. But it was Nade who became an instant hero as he closely controlled a long throw from Clapham, before unleashing a powerful effort, which beat Neil Cutler.

Nade impressed less than 24 hours later as well, when he was introduced as a substitute against Scunthorpe United. He couldn't prevent United going down to a 1-0 defeat though as trialist Derek Asamoah scored 5 minutes from time to send Scunny into their League 1 campaign with an unbeaten pre-season.
