WEDDING CARD - BLOOPERS
NOTE: A more complete list of bloopers for this and all other second-season episodes will be posted when the DVD for the second season becomes available. For a review of the episode, click here.

BLOOPERS:

A more comprehensive list will be published when the second-season DVD becomes available. Listed here are the ones that simply jumped out at me during a single viewing.

1.) When Wanda informs Lacey that Brent is a bastard and Lacey responds by telling Wanda that Oscar can't read, Lacey's hair jumps back and forth over her left shoulder.

2.) Lacey actually saw Oscar's ability to read several times in the first season. Two examples: when Oscar was planning the construction of his own coffin in "Pilates Twist" and when he comes into the Ruby with an issue of the Dog River Howler and complains about the new call center being built in Wullerton in "Comedy Night."

3.) When Hank comes up to Karen to ask if the game of knuckles is legally binding, the sidewalk behind him is clear - and then a split second later there is an elderly couple on it which has covered as much ground in that amount of time as an world-class sprinter could have. In the next scene there's yet a second couple which has appeared seemingly out of nowhere and has covered more ground during a leisurely walk than humanly possible.

4.) When Paul is serving drinks to Oscar, Hank and Brent during Oscar's "stag," Paul puts two beers down in front of Oscar and Hank, but Brent's drink makes it from the tray to the table without Paul's help.

5.) During the rehearsal dinner, when Oscar says "maybe Lacey will tell them" and Lacey says "well sure, Oscar, I'll tell them," the top button on her blouse and its corresponding buttonhole are about three inches apart from each other. The camera angle switches, and in that instant - without Lacey having moved - the button and buttonhole are now less than an inch apart.

6.) From the point where Oscar says "Maybe Lacey will tell them," watch his right (left to the viewer) hand and Emma's left. Oscar starts by having his prepared statement in his right hand, and then is holding hands with Emma as Emma laugh's at Lacey's announcement, and then drops from sight, and then is shown again with the paper in his hand - all too quick for the continuity of the scene.

7.) A blooper similar to the fifth one on this list takes place again with Lacey's top button as she grabs Oscar's apology and reads it to the dinner guests.

8.) When Davis calls for Emma to explain the "unsaid reasons," look at the handkerchief in his suit pocket (even though it's clearly part of the suit, it looks like a gray English muffin) and watch it as the camera angle switches. It is now farther out of his pocket than a second before, much like Marvin Drey's business card in "Tax Man" (although not as blatant), and appears to be beige instead of its original grey.
