GABRIELLE MILLER: BIO
Biographical details on Gabrielle seem to be fairly hard to come by, so I'll let other sources, her credits and my reviews of some of them do the talking for me. Please note that the Outer Limits bio on Gabrielle includes some credits that I can't confirm (they're underlined); if you can, please let me know at [email protected].
Gabrielle Miller is the official spokesperson for the
Vela Microboard Association,
a non-profit organization which
is dedicated to helping people with various disabilities in British Columbia. If you have your speakers on when you go to the homepage, you can listen to Gabrielle herself explain the organization to you - or, you can click
here and read about it.
From the Corner Gas website:

Vancouver born actress Gabrielle Miller knew she wanted to act almost as early as she learned how to talk. She was performing the lead roles in her Montessori School, and by the age of eight she was enrolled in the children's theater group the "Green Thumb Players".

Her film debut came at 18 in the movie Digger and since then she has appeared in over 60 film and television roles. She has appeared in several episodic series including The X-Files, The Chris Isaak Show, Jake 2.0 and Stargate-SG-1 and NBC's Frasier. Gabrielle has earned Gemini Nominations, both for her moving recurring guest star role on DaVinci's Inquest and her ensemble work on Corner Gas. She has also earned five Leo nominations and recently won for her role on Corner Gas. The role of Lacey Burrows also earned Gabrielle a Canadian Comedy Award nomination last summer. Gabrielle has also been seen as a regular on the critically-acclaimed CTV series Robson Arms.

In her free time, Gabrielle is the spokesperson for Vela Microboard, a non-profit organization that supports people living with disabilities having autonomy and choice in their lives as well as being on the microboard of the Shanti Miller Friendship Society, a microboard created for her sister who lives with cerebral palsy.

From Canada's Metro News:

First jobs - Gabrielle Miller

Metro: What was your first job, and what did you learn from it that you are still using today?
Miller: At 17 I had a house cleaning business with my mom called Have Broom Will Travel. We would ride bikes from job to job. I learned that I'm a darn good duster. My defining moment: I was cleaning the bathroom of two girls I went to school with after they had a party. They were downstairs making pancakes while I was cleaning. After that, I really pursued my acting.
