OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: An average movie, but some pretty big names are in it - Brian Dennehy, Martin Sheen, Michael Ironside and Lindsay Wagner. Gabrielle has a small role in this one, but is a big part of two key scenes: the first clear example of the onset of paranoia on the ship, and as one of a few passengers who appears in a videotaped appeal to the President of the United States. Sheen does a great job in his role as a high-ranking political sleazebag; his performance here is a stark contrast to his role on "The West Wing."
MEMORABLE LINE: In response to remarks about anti-male joke about a guy getting his IQ tripled and turning into a woman, Paula says "We're just getting even for hundreds of years of abuse, thank you."

Patrick Stevenson, who plays a mutineer, played Jake Hart in "Outer Limits" episode "From Within" and Mac Odom in the movie "Dead Mans Gun" (in the "My Brother's Keeper" segment in which Gabrielle appears). Peter Kelamis, who plays Purser Jennings," played Bob Lang in "Corner Gas" episode "Comedy Night" and Dr. Lockner in "Alienated" episode "Human Gas."
