OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: I've only seen two episodes of this show and can't really rate it overall, but Gabrielle's performance in this episode is one of those which, if you're lucky enough to see it, should make it clear why I'm such a big fan.
KUDOS TO GABRIELLE: She manages to perfectly convey every emotion and state of mind that a character such as Molly can experience in such an episode. If there's another actress who could have handled this role so well, I'm certainly not aware of her existence. Particularly impressive was her transition from aggressively flirty to severely threatening within an instant as Cade Foster stops by her house to ask a few questions. If you've seen a fair number of her other roles (very few of which have her approaching anything you see in this episode), seeing this one should give you an even better idea of the wide range of roles Gabrielle is capable of playing well and why I'm so impressed by her work..
APPEARING HERE AND ELSEWHERE WITH GABRIELLE: Patricia Drake, who plays Ellen, played a K-Mart lady in "Due East." Peter Flemming, who appears in this episode, also appeared in "Just Cause" episode "Hide and Seek." Sebastian Spence, who plays Cade Foster, played Willy in the movie "Dead Man's Gun" (in the "My Brother's Keeper" segment in which Gabrielle appears). Terry Howson, who plays a policeman, played Arthur in "M.A.N.T.I.S." episode "The Black Dragon."
