OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: I'm generally immune to these tear-jerker movies anyway, but the point to this one was especially lost on me. Gabrielle was a great choice for this role and does a good job in the few scenes she's in, but even my better half didn't see the appeal of the movie overall (and she's quick to cry watching movies). More of Gabrielle (there wasn't much of her in this one, unfortunately) and more of Leslie Nielsen would have made this movie much more watchable. Bottom line: this one is worth renting only if you're interested in seeing Gabrielle's big screen debut.
