| Everybody cut loose, footloose |
| November 30: I worked today, from 2-5, while my parents went to Calgary to see relatives. Sniffle. I was late for work though, by 45 minutes cause it's sunday and busses are all awry and yeah that sucked. But I made up for it by staying until 6. We had such a busy day, nothing seemed to get done. I spent over an hour just trying to fix the sweaters. I also didn't have a clue as to how I was going to get home. In the end I wandered over to Walmart and ran into Mel, who graciously drove me home. Then I had to make supper. I decided I didn't want to, so I went online, chatted for a while, Krystina called me and I didn't even recognise her voice [well, it has been a year], and we talked for an hour. Then I had to go cause I was hungry again, I had spaghetti, yum. I thought about homework, skipped it, and talked to people and read instead. Maybe I shouldn't have done that.. I have a test on tuesday.. oh well. November 29: I went to the bar tonight with Courtney. It was cool catching up with her, I'll admit to being a bit nervous at first, since we had been aquaintances at school, but didn't really know each other very well. But it was all good. Her goal was to get us both drunk, and so we had drinks. I had a grande total of four, Smirnoff, Tatoo, Mike's Hard Lemonade, and ... um... oh another Mike's! Right. Courtney bought that one. She had four beer. And we were like, at the end of this drinking when the world was spinning and slightly blurring, I wonder what time it is? And we look at her cell phone, and it's only 20 minutes after we had first arrived! It was hilarious. I didn't drink any more after that. Courtney made me promise not to ditch her for a guy [yeah, right], and then she turns around and ditches me! 5 minutes later, the friend of Josh [her newfound friend] came up to me [his name was Jeff] and we danced. I didn't want to be there anymore, my world was spinning, and I wasn't having a good time, and all I wanted to do was go home, but I didn't get home until 4, after an interesting episode at the Sev. Whatever. I did not have fun though; I should have just taken a taxi home, but I had come to dance, dammit! And so I did. But I wished I was with Skye, or that someone I knew would come along and take me away. Didn't happen. I won't go back to the bar without at least three friends; that way I won't be ditched. [in theory] November 28: I saw Footloose tonight! And it was KICK ASS AWESOME!!!! I wanna go see it again! I can understand what Krys said about it being a nightmare to do the final scene; it looked hard, but it was so good. I loved it, all of it. It took me a while to recognise some people though. Like, Carly, I didn't recognise her until she started the number Somebody's Eyes. It's cause her hair was red, and she wasn't her annoying usual self, I guess. I've only ever see her act once, so yeah. And I didn't recognise Paul until Mama Says, and I was like... it's PAUL!!! What have they done with Paul? He's so cute... and now he's so nerdy.. IT'S NOT RIGHT! GIVE HIM THE PART OF REN!!! *lunge* Lol, well, not really. I mean, Richard, who played Ren, was so good. And Kate was good... ok when did this start becoming a horrible written review? Meh. Anyway, it was good, and if I could, I'd go see it again. November 27: Happy anniversary Matt and Kelly! (it's their one month) I had FG tonight. I've decided there isn't another ASM, lol. Or it's someone else and I just don't know about it. Either way, that sucks. Kelly came late for FG (I would have as well), and when I finally came back from IH to the drama room, Matt was there too! And so he proceeded to tell me just how perfect their evening had been. They went to Earl's to eat dinner, after going to Matt's mom's office to drop off their schoolbooks and to give Kelly the flowers he had bought for her. Anyway, they were eating, and the waitress they had was amazing, and so they decided to give her a tip of 20$! I thought that was so sweet; they nearly made the waitress cry, she said she couldn't take it. I thought that was so touching. It sounds like they had a great date, and I'm glad for my good friend and my bro. I call Matt my bro now, we're growing so close. So yeah more taping of squares today! Whoo hoo! oooo and we sanded! Party on, lol. Not much else to tell.. I got Heat Wave stuck in my head though. I wonder what it will be next time? November 26: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SKYE!!! Hehe. 17 now, whoo hoo! I was so excited for today, I couldn't wait for 6:30 to come.. and then it did, and my parents were still taking their sweet time to get out of the door when I had been ready 20 minutes prior to 6:30. Bah. But that's ok. I got to Collicut right after Matt and Kelly, and I think I scared them.. haha. Ah well, they'll forgive me. We wandered around, looking for Skye, who wasn't done training yet, we went and bugged Candace at work, and forgot to come back when we had found Skye lol. Finally he came out, I let out a whoop and ran down the hallway, and leaped at him. Poor tired Skye, lol. Man, I forgot how tall he is! That threw me off.. haha. Skye honey, are you sure you haven't grown since I last saw you? Or maybe I'm shorter? That's more plausible.. For his birthday, we went to see Timeline. His mother drove us, and also watched the movie, after paying for all of us. I was so nervous to meet her, I mean, she's really nice, but I was still nervous. I didn't really have a chance to talk to her though. Maybe that's a good thing; I wouldn't have known what to say. We 'watched' Timeline, which means I remember two character's names (Claire and Francis), vaguely the plot, and that I liked one character's dress lol. I remember Skye much more than all that though. :) Matt and Kelly only saw the first twenty minutes of the movie. They asked after it was finished what had happened. I thought the movie was short; too short. All too soon I was at home again. I mean, after Kelly whispered in my ear (after trying to do this for 7 minutes or so) Love is a many splendored thing, Love lifts us up where we belong, All you need is Love! It was hilarious. And it wasn't until I had come home, and was watching the last 5 minutes of Survivor with my parents, did it occur to me that I had forgotten to give Skye his birthday present! Matt said it was because I was too twitterpated; so true. |
