| October 3: It was a short day today. Which meant I only had an hour to write Kelly her poem. But I think it all turned out in the end. I went to her house today. First time. For her birthday. It was nice. I liked her kitchen. We hung out for a while. I came right after school. She was singing John Mayer [who else?] and I was trying to sing along as well, but it's still new to me. Then she was dancing on the bench, and Murray came along, and she said "catch me" and let herself fall. Amazing, but he did catch her. I wish I could have thought of that... then off to her house. The countryside is so beautiful this time of year. We hung out, I saw pictures, other people started to show. We all hung out, found out how many people we could cram on her bed, almost fell off, had a pillow fight, watched MTV. Then supper. I had a veggie burger [I'm so proud], Skye came over, he was cute, turns out he has a girlfriend. How was I to know? We played twister, then watched 40 Days and 40 Nights. Skye hand fed us popcorn. He was well trained. Lol. But it was nice. He also kept my toes warm. After the movie, we ran outside, to the playground, played, went into the woods. There we danced around rocks. Like they did for New Years. So glad I wasn't there for that. Came back in. Watched Shakespeare in Love. Played Truth or Dare. Good times. Had crazy conversations. Went to bed at 5:30. Good stuff. Oh, and the cake was divine. October 1: Today was Kelly's birthday! Happy birthday Kelly. She's only 17 today.. I feel so old... heheheehe. We went down to Co-op today in spare, and bought her cupcakes and pink candles. And pudding, icing, all the good stuff. Then we headed to the bridge again and I got to play with Matt's lighter... mwahaha. I love fire. Hehe. Jamie showed us this really cool trick with the lighter fluid, his mouth, and flame. It was awesome. I showed Kelly how to put out a flame with your fingers. Fun was had by all. After school, after trying to convince Steff to audition again [and to no avail] I went to the school to audition for the musical medley we're having. Luck as it is, Kelly showed up two minutes after me. We had a lovely wait of like, 2 hours, where we fooled around, and she actually converted me into a John Mayer fan in that time. Amazing, I know. But hey, good songs. I convinced her to sing for the audtion. Everyone was awesome during the audition. 83 people auditioned in total. But I'm not worried. Somehow, I will be involved. But it was fun, as well. I sang in french. Hehe. September 30: What a crappy day. Well, it wasn't crappy until Cody opened his mouth.. and from then on.. lol. It wasn't that bad I guess. But I shouldn't let certain things bother me, and I did. But I'm so happy to have such understanding and amazing friends. They made me feel so much better. Nothing else so dramatic or life threatening happen today. September 29: My weekend was ok. I guess. I worked. Didn't to much else. Now, next weekend, on the other hand.. hehehehe. Today was Monday. I was so happy to go to school! LMAO. Sad, but true. We built towers in Vis. Comm. Ours was lopsided, and collapsed with 5 pounds. Heh. Good spare day. Whoo hoo. We played with pudding. I am so gunna bring pudding on Friday. Hehe. We disgusted someone at the other table. Hehe. Matt was happy.. and so was Jamie. Our resident hootchie was disgusted. Candace is worried for the sleepover now. Hehe. I say that way too much. Don't I? I wrote another poem. It's been in my blood the last couple of days. Oh well. Little kids annoy me. Damn little kids. I wore a skirt today! It almost slipped my mind too. I wore this nice long velvety black skirt, with a marroon top, sneakers and toe socks. I figure, gotta be comfy right? Exactly. Everyone was shocked, including me. But I figure, if I have the urge, I had better, cause it'll be another year until I do it again. Matt thought I was sexy today. So did Kelly. So hey, whatever. |
