| February 1: Happy 20 Birthday Steph! WOW!!! I went skiing today. Cross country. I pulled a muscle, and got way too hot, and circled a field and everything. Although I like the downhill part, and skiing and all, I am not used to it anymore and I had no energy (never go skiiing whilst hungry), so it wasn't the greatest. But it was ok.. for a while, anyway. 2 hours was a bit much for a first time in a long time. January 31: Inventory day at work. It sucked, took a long time, but we finished before 12! Well, 10 mins before, but whatever. 8 hours of work, for something not so bad, meh it's all good. January 30: Yay!!! We're done painting International Hall!! WHOOOO! Party!! Haha. I'm so happy. I got to the school at 9, and no one else was there, so I stacked tables. I stacked 16 tables onto others... I am so proud of myself, considering I wasn't sure if I could even lift one of those tables on my own... go me!! After I got bored of that, I wandered the school for a bit, got in trouble, wandered back to International Hall, and found people there! Yay! I watched Chandel, Riley, Elle, and Diana sponge the texturized stuff on the stage, cause there was only 4 sponges. I helped a bit. Then we finished the roof, it looks wicked awesome, then I finished this green square, got on top of the ladder and everything, scary stuff. We put the stage in place, and got to throw away all this crap, like the rollers, and the drop cloths!! We were so happy. Anyway, the place looks awesome, and we're like, done painting!! At least, in those colors and everything. Man, all that and it took 4 hours? Doesn't seem right. Oh but Riley and Diana went off and put up more posters and stuff, and yeah.. but still... crazy!! I'm sure we did more, I just can't remember. Whatever. I'm just so happy that we're done! Yay! Now the real work starts! Go us!! And Mrs. Penner and Mrs. Adams were so proud of us and everything, that was awesome. And all I can say is, that after all the work and effort we've put into this show, all of you reading this and in the RD area have to come! *pulls on shirt and drags person forward* got that??! Damn straight you're coming!! Show starts on the 14, and runs until the 25 with like, some days off in between.. ask me for details, or just go to community programs.. but buy tickets dammit!!! I was sad, however, to find out that I cannot go to Edmonton this weekend, as Lindsey decided the roads weren't safe enough, which is true I know, but it still sucks. And I had to break it to Shannon... awww poor thing. Dammit I wanna call Linds to find out what we're doing on monday!! January 29: My day was going hunky dory, just peachy keen, until I was stupid enough to tell Steff that her father had asked me in Chapters to get her out of the house this week. So then she thinks that she has something to prove, and drags me outside in -30 odd something weather to do something? And after I had written my diploma for bio too! The nerve. It was cold. I can't believe her though; she actually suggested going to the mall. Of course, she was bored in 3 mins, but that's besides the point. I bought 3 cds and her and I both got frozen yogurt, and we were talking about catching the bus in the foyer from where we were leaving to catch the bus, neither of us knew when it was coming, and then she's like.. there's the bus!! And we ran, and actually caught it, which was cool and all... lol it was like Value Village all over again haha. January 26: Krystina said that this week would ROCK!!! So I'll just sit here.. .and wait.. patiently, of course.. for it to start.... *sits, waits... gets bored, looks around* so yeah, um... *flecks off paint chips on fingers* now what? hmm... let the good times roll! Haha. |
