September--the Sapphire
Al2O3
The sappire is a corundum, like the ruby.  It has a hardness of 9.  A small amount of iron oxide of titanium oxide caused the blue color.  However, a sappire is a corundum that is any color but red.  It has a trigonal crystal system.  A sapphire has a specific gravity of 3.95.  Its streak is uncolored.  The ancient Perisians believed the Earth was suspended in a giant sapphire.
