IBRAHIM ALAI-HI-SALAM

He gazed deeply upon the skies

Rested his eyes on the graceful moon

And said, ‘Behold… you are my lord’

But as sun rose spreading its light

No more the moon remained in sight

And the heaven filled with magnificent sun

This is my Lord, the brilliant and bright

But as night come, the sun descends

Is this God, how quickly it ends?

So he knew matter rise and fall

My Lord is the one without any bends

Then he pleaded, ‘oh God; show me yourself’

And his plea was rewarded by God

For surely there are signs for those

Who reflect and search for Lord

So he finally knew the truth

That God is not the matter we see

Yet present in every tatter ‘He’

Sun or anything they all are fraud

And the only truth is a single God
