First Teen Skate of the Year at FLM
Come out for the first teen skate of the school year at Family Life Ministries. Cost is $5.00 per person, price includes skate rental. If you want you can bring your own skates or rollerblades. The snack shop will be open. There is also a family skate at 3:30, prior to the teen skate. www.fln.org.

Field Setup At Family Life Ministries
The field setup is scheduled for Saturday, August 25th. Come get together and help line the fields and set up the goals. Free pizza for all who attend!

Team Picnic and Parents' Meeting
On August 21st there will be practice followed by a team picnic down the street at Big Flats Community Park. A grill will be provided, so please bring your own meat to cook, a beverage and table service for your family, and a dish to pass. We will be talking about the upcoming season. Also, please remember to bring a filled out registration form and other requirements (See Requirements) to Coach Forrest or Kathi Rog as soon as possible.

FLM Players Make Local Travel Teams
Six FLM Intensity players have earned spots on local travel teams for Soaring Capital Soccer Club. Varsity players Shayla Rog (U19 Girls A Team), Grayson Czarnecki (U16 Boys A Team), Autumn Star (U16 Girls A Team), Josh McCarthy (U16 Boys B Team), Eric Rava (U16 Boys B Team), and Caleb McCarthy (U14 Boys B Team) will compete in the 2006-2007 Winter/Spring season for SCSC.
Soaring Capital Soccer Club is a travel soccer club located in the Elmira/Corning area of Upstate N.Y. SCSC draws players from a wide geographic area who are interested in obtaining first-rate coaching from a dedicated staff of experienced and passionate soccer coaches.
