Indicator and Supporting Objectives

Students will analyze situations in order to draw conclusions about the relevance and purposes of government in their lives.

Examine a contemporary issue involving government and generate questions that need to be addressed about the role of government and citizen participation. 
Determine the need for government and justify its roles in a society.
Establish relevancy for the study of government.
