| Hills and ramps -- Learn positioning to get stable, stay stable. Take the worry out of downhills; |
| Obstructions -- Sharp turns and stops to avoid them; |
| Streetcar tracks -- cross them as if they weren't there; |
| Curbs -- while moving get on them and off them, parallel or perpendicular; |
| Traffic -- position yourself correctly; |
| Street smarts -- learn the right way and the smart way. |

| Work on sidewalk skills on quiet neighbourhood street. We start early when traffic is light We learn some trail skills in a quiet local park., and cross tracks on Bathurst. |

| Who it's designed for: |
| This clinic is for the advanced/beginner or intermediate skater.� If you are able to stop and turn, but lack confidence because of hills, tracks, traffic, bad surface etc. this clinic is for YOU! It is a plus if you can control your speed by dragging your wheels or heelbrake..� |
| The Details: |
| Be geared up and ready to skate at [see schedule] at Royal St George College schoolyard, 1 � blocks north of Bloor between Barton and Wells and 1 � blocks east of Bathurst between Howland and Albany. Enter from Albany or Howland. By car, to avoid one-ways, descend Howland from Dupont. You will need to wear a helmet, wrist guards, and elbow and knee pads to participate. No exceptions.
