From the President:

What a successful month weve had. A big thank you goes out to all those members that helped either as chairmen or participants/workers. In spite of economic downtimes, ticket sales and profits for the gun raffle set an all time high! This is great news for our upcoming projects. I will announce the winners of the prizes for selling the most club tickets in next months article. The Pancake Breakfast /Easter Egg Hunt was well attended and turned a profit. The chicken dinner was also a huge success with a net profit of just over $1100 and 240 people well fed. I just wish I could have been there. There was a full house scheduled for the 1st Johnny Appleseed shoot. Joe Arp will have a full report for us, Im sure. We are in need of some culvert for our new parking lot at the west end of our driveway. If someone has some they dont want, or knows where we can get some give me a call. We need to have that here when the heavy equipment is here to install the gas lines. Some upcoming dates to remember are June 6th Fairhaven Day and the Youth Fishing Derby June 13th.

NEW FEATURE OF WEBPAGE

Many members have sent me (Newsletter/Membership) e-mails regarding pending legislation, etc. I cannot forward them to the general membership because the ISPs will consider my address a spam source and will block my transmissions. Because of this, Cliff Maslovsky, our web page chairman, has set up a group website for all of you who are interested in sharing/discussing information on gun legislation, etc. You can share photos, files, polls, calendars, etc. You can contact Cliff at [email protected] . He will send you an invitation. You must complete the invitation requirements to join in. The group web address is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/viennafishandgame.
