What? Outraged? More the fool you are then. Here, let me offer some tangible proof then - who amongst you can remember such aberrations as Xax Starfury, the blade happy elf? Or perhaps the ever acidic Christiana Vassago, once sidhe representative? Samantha Haine, the resident cyberslut? Ah, and let us not forget Jonathan Scathach and Emily King...what could be worse than a ignoble brat and a pampered daddies girl? Bayler, Chirotaphos...but I digress. Other than that, the sidhe have always been active parliamentarians. I am fair certain that they have never been without an ample supply of representative nominations - one count in a past election numbered an impressive nine nominees! However, politics is in our blood, and ruling a commoner mew is perhaps an irresistible challenge for many sidhe. As the years pass from 2000 though, there has been noticeably less interest in the freehold from our kith. Myself, I haven't graced the common room of Firnost Freehold for nigh on a year (Though I do keep an eye and ear on what happens within it). Why is this? I can only guess, but I would chance a guess that it has something to do with the drop in attendance of fae within the 'hold. Sidhe are social creatures, and without a certain amount of conflict, plotting and drama, we tend to find greener pastures quickly enough - those of us that are truly of the traditionalist spirit."

"Indeed, my late liege was correct on many points, though the attendance of sidhe in the freehold mayhap be on the rise. On a count within the walls of this demense, one would doubtless struggle to detect less than one of the fair folk, or at the least, the lingering perfume redolent of nobility. Aye, despite being a commoner court, we persist on mixing with the lesser folk.
