	Beasties! Of all the Thallain, the beasties are perhaps the most interesting and disturbing - if only in appearance. While often pretending to be pooka, beasties are far more feral and primal, often giving themselves away. And of course, seelie fly into an insane rage when confronted with an obvious beastie... Why is this? It's not certain, but an interesting paradox is produced; if a beastie somehow transforms into its nightmare shape in front of a seelie fae, will the fae flee in fear, or attack in anger, or do nothing?

"What? Eh? Pooka? Never 'eard of 'em. But did I ever tell ye about the time when I was deep in the J, in 'nam. Well, there was this squad of gooks commin' my way - an' ya see, I could smell 'em with me keen sense o' smell; be'in a hare pooka and all.
Whut? Pooka? I said what? So I didn't. Firnost Pooka? Sounds like a cult or somethin' fer deranged giraffe hunters. Well then, there's quite a few pooka around here - or there was - an' I even know a few names. Hurm...lemme see...(lengthy pause, punctuated with snoring)...whut? Asleep? Me? Never...anyways, we was talkin' 'bout ham an' cheese sammidges. We wasn't? Did I ever tell ye about the time when I was deep in the J...I did?
Well, names...there's me, an' Dromey, an' some wee penguin chap, Dame Alexarse, Ian Reclause, some butterfly floozy...gawd, too many. Even some fella tryin' ta be like me. Sheesh. Lies? Never. Last time I was called a liar three sergents and a private ended up with broken arms an' me in front of my Officer Commanding..."
