There are 20 professional Firefighters at Coffs Harbour Fire Station. Five Permanent (Career) Firefighters, (Station Officer and four Permanent Firefighters) and 15 Retained (Part-time) Firefighters.

The Permanent Firefighters work Monday to Friday 8:00am till 4:30pm. The Retained Firefighters respond from pagers when a fire call is received.

All Firefighters are paid professional Firefighters, highly trained in Firefighting, Rescue, Hazardous Materials incidents and Fire Prevention.

Station Officer Andrew Hassell is the Officer in Charge of the Station.
