Welcome aboard NSCC Recruit Training Ft. Indiantown Gap. This will be the best recruit training in the country, and you will be a vital part of it!
You will use the same seabag list as the recruit cadets. Female Seabag Lists and Male Seabag Lists will be found here. You will be berthing near the recruit cadets. Therefore electronic items such as CD players, MP3 players, cell phones, etc. will not be allowed for any cadet. If you have any special requests for exceptions to this rule, make sure that you contact LT. Michael Mooney, NSCC as soon as possible.
During this training, you will have plenty of responsibility and work. You will be the liaison between the officers and the recruit cadets. This is an important position. Many of you were especially chosen for this training because I know you are capable of performing your duties well. You must always remember that you are serving as role models for the recruit cadets.
Be sure you read the Information for Unit Commanding Officers. It has a lot of general information you need to know.
Staff cadets are to report at 1000 on Saturday, 27 June 09. The uniform for reporting is Dress Whites. All staff will be expected to stay on Saturday until everything is packed up and the buildings are all turned in. If you have any questions or problems, contact LT Michael Mooney, NSCC or LCDR Edith O'Brion, NSCC as soon as possible, but no later than 1200 on Thursday, 26 June.
With all of us working together, we can make this a super training to remember for all hands. I look forward to seeing you then.
LCDR Edith O'Brion, NSCC
