| My 25 years of professional experience as fireman, during which I fought forest fires in Europe and, sometimes too, I fought for the safeguard of the human lives, made me note that there was: |
| The Context |
| a Deficiency in the methodology of fight against fires between the Aerial Means and the Terrestrial Means. |
| During this time: - the terrestrial means are positioned and requisitioned in order to protect the dwellings facing the fire-front, - the aerial means, being unable to intervene in an urban zone, proceed to a safety flight and, thus, they are inoperative, - the fire, free from its actions, progresses in all the directions and intensifies itself. |
| Then, when the fire does not threaten any more the dwellings: - the set-up of fight is reactivated, - the aerial means resume their activities, - the terrestrial set-up is redeployed according to the new strategy of fight facing the new situation. => Therefore, it elapsed over an hour. |
| At the time of the forest fire, the first role of firemen is to protect the lives, the dwellings and the goods. |
| The Position of the FEODROP concept in this context |
| Facing this situation, |
| I had the idea to invent the FEODROP concept as a complementary tool at all those already existing, in order to remedy this deficiency in the methodology of fires extinction. |
| The intervention of the FEODROP concept is situated: |
| ahead of the fire-front by the application of a product for the protection and the creation of slow down barrieres. |
