DAY 8 - SEATTLE/HOME
SUNDAY

Our group has gathered obediently at 8:15 am in the
Princess Theater for our turn to disembark.

Michael, followed by the Kurts, disembarking

Who knew getting off a boat could be so fun?

Craig, the Barkers, Mom, Linda, the Kenningtons
the Pimentels, stepping off the dream ship.

Once last glance back at the Sapphire Princess
where many memories were made!

Here's a sign I don't mind seeing.

Goodbyes all around; Michael and Mom,

Mom and Patty,
(now that school is out, Vanessa's baby is born
and the cruise is behind us Patty
can concentrate on Carrie's wedding!),

Clint and Sarah (whose missionary is coming home
home in two long weeks!),

Laurel and Patrushka.

Michael's former workmate, Janice, was kind enough to pick
us up once again. We went with her to lunch at a fish place
called the Lock Spot. Ron is showing off his fish and chips.

She took us to see the locks here in Seattle.
We're watching a larger boat waiting for the water to
lower so it can go through the lock.

Smaller boats are behind it, even kayaks!

There's a fish ladder next to the locks. We went underneath
where you can watch the fishies. Salmon galore!

I don't know what these curly things are by the fish
ladder but they remind me of the movie Nightmare Before
Christmas that Breanne likes.

This good old sea dawg was having a matty fan tam.

Hey, look who we found in the airport, Blair and Susan!
How fun to wait with them. Our flight to SFO left just a few minutes
after their flight to LAX. The Pimentels were in the air to
Bakersfield at the same time, too. That was fun to think about.

We're just about home now! Michael's sister, JulieAnn,
is doing double duty as babysitter extraordinnaire,
and taxi driver.

We missed our little Mr. Squishy!

And our big tall Miss Lovely!

There will be lots of make-up kissing to do!
