There was no shortage of hugs . . .

. . . or smiles. Laurel, Patty, and Jen happy to be together.

Michael enjoyed checking out the technical stuff.
He was disappointed he didn't get to see the engine room.
What must an engine look like that can move a monster
like this? Since 9/11, no engine room tours.

Is that Jen at the front of the Titanic?

Why no, it's a dog drooling in the wind--
(or a reasonable facsimile thereof) slurp slurp!

Susan was inside in one of the many
lounges around where you can lounge around,
working on a little red sweater for her
granddaughter Anna, whilst Blair was just outside the
window reading (too windy for some of us!).

An ice sculpture of a bear at the entrance
to our favorite 24-hour buffet called Horizon Court.
It was on the floor we lived on. How convenient.

There were so many things to do. This class
was on the history of the area.

Our first fancy dinner night. We were to eat at the
Sterling Restaurant. But first . . .

. . . Family Home Evening. In a bar. That's right.
Susan led us in the most appropriate song,
"Count Your Many Blessings." We tried to
sing sort of quietly. We didn't want to ruin the
bar atmosphere, although hardly anyone else
was there this early.

Singing

Then Patty gave a brief thought, using Dad's scriptures,
from Section 76 of the Doctrine & Covenants.

This bar had a beautiful view of the back of the boat and wake.

Peter could be thinking to himself, "Could we possibly
fit more people into this elevator? Ay caramba!"

Jen and Mom say,
"There's plenty of room! C'mon in!

Wot?! No caviah on the menu tonight?
I just don't know if I'm able to dine in such a place!
It's alright, honey, we'll pick some up on the way home.

Jen's beaded purse that she made in her spare time.
She even knows how many beads, approximately 15,000.
She is truly a wonder chick, we don't have to
worry about that girl's idle hands.

Peter and Jennifer enjoying dessert.

Blair lining up a shot just right.

The Davises looking beautiful.
Blair is the patriarch of our family now.

Our favorite waiter, Constantin from Romania.
Also known as Mr. Personality.

It was risky to wait until AFTER dinner to take a formal picture but we pulled it off.
