| This is my layer assignment. Nothing earth shattering but it helped me get the hang of layering which i find confusing at times. I want to keep adding stuff without adding a new layer. | |

| Tubes! What a easy way to look artistic eh? :) The butterfly on the right is the assignment and the ballon pic below is my own creation. I lost track of how many layers I had..something like 19 layers ,and a few times I forgot to add a new layer. Oh well..I merge it all flat in the end anyway. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| More tubes! Lots of tree tubes but I didnt like the radom way they popped up. I would rather have picked which ones I wanted to place on my picture. Like all the same type tree, maybe. I didnt try this but.can you rotate or mirror a tube?? humm? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Crop! No, not a farmers crop..lol. Cropping was easy but I did find the magic wand and selection/invert option to be interesting. :) That type of crop triggered my imagination. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Paint brush tool! The picture below is just playing with the different angle brushes at different settings. I was experimenting with all of them but didnt take notes on each step. I didnt use any other brush types except for the custom flower one. I also used the airbrush tool on this. I find the airbrush easier to blend shadows then the paint brushes. Anyway..it was fun and when I finished I thought it was suitable for framing. :) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Bubbles! I had a good time making bubbles..as you can see! lol I just did different sizes and colors and placed them random till I got tired of making bubbles. :) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The assignments below are copy/paste exercises. I think the hardest part of this was trying to find a good place for the roses in a snow storm. hummm? Middle of the road looked good. :) I liked paste as selection on the eyeball exercise...that was nifty. I will have to play with that selection more often. I also places a few tubes on the pic just for fun. That was fun! Cant wait till next week. :) |
