In 19th Century, when the idea of Underwear was developed which had not
common before at some point Underwear Shirts was also comes into view that
shirt was always a part of clothing since ancient Egypt hence, there were

T-Shirt. The origin of T-Shirt is conflicting between the
nations from California to Britain from 1913 to 1948 which is most likely a
slow progress. Most research says that during World War 1 when US soldiers
observed that European soldiers worn light cotton undershirts while they
were sweating in their wool uniforms, So American decided also to wear those
shirts and because of their design they got the name T-Shirts. Other experts
described T-Shirts as "Crew
Neck" which was wear by U.S Navy's soldier as light undershirts
in 1913. From the evidences I 1932 it was claimed by the underwear company
Jockey that they develop the sweat absorbing shirt for USC football team,
which is propose as "modern T-Shirts". After World War II
t-shirts appeared in civilian wears without a shirt covering
it. In 1948 t-shirts were get more popularity because of its promotional use
by New York Governor for presidential campaign which was followed in 1952 by
many famous stars of Hollywood which they wear on national TV programs. The origin of name T-Shirt is refer to different area some says that it because of its "T" shape and some says that it was because of it used as a part of "Training Shirts" in army. Usually T-shirts are button less, collarless, and pocket less, with a round neck and short sleeves, and pulled on over the head. Now days T-shirts are worn normally as casual wear rather than wearing it as a undershirts, it also become a part of promotion and protesting events also, T-shirts typically extend to waist although one of its fashion type is "oversized" T-Shirts which is adopted by modern hip hop culture. Also in women's clothing "Cropped" t-shirts are use as fashion appeal which is short and tight-fit. Another type is long-sleeves t-shirt which was accepted in the fashion since 1970s. In 1960s Ringer T-Shirts are appeared with tie-dyeing and screen printing styles for rock-n-rollers youth and after death development in t-shirts designs and in fashion could not took a breath it was on and on with Black concert T-Shirt in 1970s for rock stars and music fans, tank top, A-shirt, muscle shirt, scoop neck, V-neck etc. Also T-shirts were decorated with different type of mediums of printing like screen-printing, airbrush, appliqué, embroidery, impressing or embossing and the ironing. Since the late 1980s and 1990s, T-shirts with prominent designer-name logos have been popular, especially in teenagers and young adults, in addition to being decorative. Examples of designer T-shirt branding include Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Denim, Calvin Klein, FUBU and the Gap.
