A Belt is a flexible band, girdle or band worn around the body and is made of leather or heavy cloth, It is used to confine loose garment around the waist and to hold or support trousers & clothing and also serves as a decorative clothing accessory Used as style.

Leather belts are used in both male & female clothing since the early age. The use of belts by females depends on fashion. The male use belts to hold their trousers or pants and nowadays men's regularly wear belts with their pants. Before the twenties belts were only used for decorative purpose only by women's. Nowadays some of the belt buckles are used as collector items.

Some people use belts around the arms, neck, legs, waist, and hips & across the chest just for decoration. Sometimes it is use to decorate weapons also. History also states that belts were used to spank kids and by master for spanking servants but later this trend declined as the law does not allow this.

Men's Belts usually come in two basic colors black & brown but these days tan is also hot. Black is the most common color in belts for men and it can be found with nearly every man. Dress belts are not wide they are usually as the size of your thumb. Formal belts usually have a shiny finish, while casual belts come in light pleasant colors and a bit wider than dress belts. Canvas belts are also in nowadays because of their quality and colors.
