Program Details

The program was something that I wanted but didn't want to spend a lot of money on. So I decided to do it myself on the computer.

I'm really proud of our program. I designed it myself, which included the concept and color. As you can see, the look I chose was a very simple and straightforward design. Clip art seemed to clutter it. I also liked the 8 1/2" x 2 3/4" size of the program. I think it had a delicate feel with a touch of class. And since I didn't put too much money into them, I wouldn't feel bad if someone decided to toss it in their recycling bin.  :)

I was especially pleased with the poem. In a nutshell, it describes that there's no time like the present to be happy. I'd received it twice over the Internet, so I decided to use it for our wedding program. It's one of those things that get you thinking. I also wanted to convey the happiness that Doyle & I felt. I posted it full size and I hope you can read it.

The quote in the front cover is:
"Work Like you don't need the money.

And dance like no one's watching".
