Lock of the week: Philly -6.5 @ Chicago
This is a rematch of last year's playoff match-up. Chicago is a former shell of last year's 13-3 team. The Eagles seem to be getting better adding a running game to their offense. The Birds had 300 yards of rushing offense against a Giant team that only gave up an average of 86 yards prior to Monday Night. I see this game going exactly like the playoff game last year. Take the Birds and give the points.
No-Doubter: Green Bay -4.5 vs. Miami
Miami looked very poor last week with Ray Lucas (who I met up at Rutgers in my short stint there). I don't think Chris Carter will make that much of a difference in his first week back as a pro, but he will make Lucas a better QB. Green Bay with or without Farve, will still win. They still have a guy named A. Green. Put your money on the Pack minus the points.
Upset of the week: Cowboys +2.5 @ Detroit
This on is just a hunch. It will be a slow moving game, that will come down to a big play in the 4th quarter to Joey Galloway on a 40+ yard play. Detroit is getting better but are not there yet. Take the Boys and the points.
