| Well my Birds did not cover for me this past week giving me my only loss. So I went 2-1 and I am now 6-6 for the year. Started off slow, but making a move. This week is a very tough week with the spreads. But here they are: Lock of the Week: Cincinnati @ Indianapolis -13.5 With 2 weeks to prepare, the Colts should come out firing against the lowly Bengals. Lets look at this one. The Bengals are averaging less than 6 points a game. Six points a game?!?! Are you kidding me? I can't believe there is a NFL team that only averages 6 points a game 4 weeks into the season. I can see one...maybe two...but six? Come on, the Bengal players are stealing money from the organization and fans. Until they prove you wrong, bet against the Bengals all year long. Take the Colts -13.5. No Doubter: Tampa Bay -2.5 @ Atlanta This game will be a close battle. Atlanta has had two weeks to prepare for the Bucs. Gruden's offense is starting to really gel now. The Bucs defense hasn't lost a step. They will however have their hands full with the scrambling Vick. But the defense will be too much for the still developing Falcons to handle. Take the Bucs -2.5. Upset of the week: Baltimore +6.5 @ Cleveland I liked the way Baltimore's defense played on Monday night. They were making hard hits and playing with a lot of intensity. Couch will have nightmares about Ray Lewis. Even if Cleveland wins, it will only be by a last minute field goal. Take the Ravens +6.5. |
