Lock of the Week: New Orleans (-3.5) vs. Atlanta in the Big Easy
The Saints are the real deal this year. They have a balanced offense with
Brooks, McAllister, and Horn, as well as an outstanding defense. Atlanta is
a team that is improving week after week. They might have some trouble this week, if T.J. Duckett doesn't make it into the lineup. He is Questionable
this week and is wearing a cast right now on his injured foot. Atlanta is
going to need more than Vick running for 100 yards this week. Take the
Saints minus 3.5.
No-Doubter: Tennessee -5.5 @ Cincinnati
Yes, I know that the Titans have the worst pass defense in the league. That
doesn't worry me this week. You need to have a QB that can throw the ball
and you need receivers to catch them. The Bengals have neither. Both teams
had two weeks to think about this game. The Bengals we're thinking about
what to do with all the money they are stealing from their fans for being
so bad. I believe if you took the best High School team in the country
could give Cincy a run for their money. This is a No-Doubter. Take the
Titans and give the 5.5.
Upset of the Week: Arizona +7.5 @ San Francisco
San Fran hasn't looked like the teams of yesteryear. Arizona is trying to
prove itself as one of the top teams in the NFC West. This will be a close
one. Arizona has a pretty good defense this year and the 49ers are having
some problems with their offense. I think San Fran will win by one or two
FGs. Take the Cards and the points.
