Dear Congressman Mollohan:
On March 13, 2004 Rep. Joe Baca (California) headed the Panel for the Congressional Inquiry of Child Protective Services in San Bernadino, California. Families from all over the United States submitted evidence of CPS Abuses of Power and Victimization of Families.
Many segements of society is affected by false allegations of child abuse and neglect. Poverty is often confused or misreported as abuse and neglect. Due to False Allegations of Abuse and Neglect and in cases where extremely trivial or frivilous conditions exist, many children are unjustly removed and unnecessarily removed from their natural families and placed in foster care where they are an estimated 11 times more likely to suffer abuse, neglect or even death than if the children had been left with their natural families.
Congressman Wally Herger is scheduled to hold a Congressional Inquiry regarding these matters in Washington, DC which apparently will be scheduled in the very near future.
I urge you to support Rep. Baca in this endeavor and to attend the Congressional Inquiry of CPS in Washington, DC. I would also urge you to hold a Congressional Inquiry in West Virginia in order so that West Virginians can more easily submit their evidences.
