| The Falcons waster another opportunity to beat a top-four side, going down to South Hedland after a final quarter fade-out. Leading by three points at half time, the Falcons looked the goods to defeat Swans but lacked purpose after the break. Coach Derek Kickett would be ruing his side's inaccuracy as it kicked 2.8 (20) in the second half to Swans' 9.2 (56). Swans 15.5 (95) defeated Falcons 8.14 (62). Reserves Falcons 10.8 (68) defeated Swans 7.6 (48). |

| Kats again proved they are the best football side in Karratha with another derby win over the Falcons. Following a lacklustre first quarter in which the Kats piled on seven goals to two, Falcons coach Derek Kickett shored up his backline with Cowan and Harper plugging the holes inside the Kats' 50m zone. The move worked, with Kats unable to get value for money from its countless forward sorties in the second quarter.. But at the other end of the ground the Falcons were unable to penetrate their own 50m zone with the Kats' two loose men easily dealing with any resistance. In the second half Kats forward Troy Stevens provided his team with a strong leading forward while the mercurial John Berouti and Todd Marshall provided able lieutenants. Between them the trio kicked all but one of their club's 18 goals. Only Craig Sargeant, who was by far the Falcons' best player, Sean Cowan and Derek Kickett provided any opposition to the rampant Kats' forwards. Following goalless second and third quarters, backman Milo Thornton kicked a miracle goal from the boundary to provide the Falcons' only highlight on an otherwise disappointing night. Kats 18.22 (130) defeated Falcons 3.2 (20). Reserves Kats 8.11 (59) defeated Falcons 8.2 (50). |

| The Falcons overcame a spirited performance by cellar dwellers Dampier to record their fifth win of the season. Early in the match it looked as though Dampier would run away with its first win of the season but the silky smooth skills of Phil Bartlett kept the Karratha side in the match. | ROUND 7 Falcons Vs Dampier at Bulgarra Oval |
| The Falcons blew a golden chance to defeat the highly-fancied Port Hedland side after yet another first quarter shocker. With coach Derek Kickett urging his players to take their first big scalp of the year, the Falcons were disappointing from the outset as Rodney "Mort" Bartlett and gritty small man Dan Carter went down with season-ending injuries in the first term.. The Falcons were held scoreless in the opening quarter, as the Rovers piled on five goals, and received a blasting from Kickett at the break. With Rovers' forward Adrian Paunich, who kicked three first quarter goals, held to just one more goal for the match, the Falcons had just as much possession as the home side in the second quarter but wasted several good scoring opportunities. Kickett would have been disappointed with the delivery into the forward line as Karratha persisted with its short-kicking game. The match deteriorated into a scrappy affair in the third quarter as both sides were held scoreless. In the final stanza Kane Oxenham ran riot for the Rovers in the centre of the ground providing the home side with plenty of opportunities to extend its lead, however, its forays were repelled time and time again by Ben Catchpole, Craig Sargeant, Milo Thornton and Sean Cowan. In the final quarter Kickett added another goal for the Falcons but it was all too late as Port Hedland ran out 43-point winners 8.12 (60) to Falcons 2.5 (17). Reserves Falcons defeated Rovers |
