"The computers are slow and out-of-date."

Edge Hill has a pretty small campus. It is in the shape of an H, because it used to be a hospital, at least that's what people say.

The Learning Resource Centre, or the LRC, is for all intensive purposes, the library. There are monstrously slow computers, books, copy machines, scanners, etc. The American students discovered not too long after their arrival that the LRC houses quite an impressive selection of movies (mainly historical or artistically important ones), which can be 'rented' for free.

The Linc opened in 2000 and has faster, better computers than the LRC. The whole building is quite nice. It is here that you can procure digital cameras and video cameras for a few days. It still amazes me that they trust us with them.

Other Stuff:
There are four washing machines that wash the entire campus' clothing. One of the best times to go is on a Wednesday night, when everyone is out partying (see 'nightlife' section.)
