���� What in tarnation is The Wheel? The Wheel is whatever you've got to keep rolling. Your Wheel includes your daily responsibilities, your extracurricular assignments, your committees, your team functions, or a variety of other things you've got to stay on top of every school year, semester, grading period, week, or day. ���� Your job is to stay at the hub of your Wheel and see that everything keeps rolling smoothly. But just like the hub in the picture, your Wheel ain't rollin' nowhere smooth without the support of strong spokes. ���� Did you know that there's all kinda spokes for your Wheel laying around East Tipp just waiting to be used? It's true. Just like the spokes above allow the hub to drive the wheel, there's all kinda folks around the building who can help you drive your daily work. There's people around our building who have expertise in the same areas that you have problems. There's people around our building who can help you enjoy coming to work just a little bit more. There's people around our building who can help your Wheel run smoother. ���� Maybe your Wheel already runs real smooth. Well, good for you. But you know what? Other people got Wheels too. Everybody in this building's got Wheels, and they all need spokes. Keep in mind that even when your Wheel's runnin' smooth, there's other people who need your spoke to strengthen theirs. ���� The Wheel ain't gonna lie to you ... it's tough to keep everything runnin' smooth on the road every day of every year. The important thing to realize is that every last one of us has the ability to help someone else down the road. Spoke by spoke. The Wheel gets stronger; the ride gets smoother. ���� And the best part is that you ain't gotta wait for the rest of the staff to start puttin' in spokes. YOU can help someone do a task he's been dreading. YOU can help someone talk problems out. YOU can give someone something to look forward to next week. Whenever you feel like it, YOU can be a spoke in someone's Wheel. ���� Give it a shot. ���� From time to time, The Wheel will sponsor various events that will help provide or strengthen spokes on folks' Wheels -- it might be yours; it might be someone else's.
